And we'd like to say Happy Fiftieth Anniversary,
but these lines can all be summed up just like this,
because your marriage has been truly exemplary,
so, congratulations on 50 years of pure wedded bliss!
And I know you?ve renewed your vows today,
such devotion, most of us have never witnessed or heard,
but to be honest, there was no need to renew them at all,
because for 50 years, you?ve kept your promise, every word.
They say that marriage can be hard,
and the first years are the hardest of all,
but ours have been simply wonderful,
with you I feel about ten feet tall.
Because I just can't live without you,
you are my wife, my lover, my very best friend,
and I promise, I'll treat you like a queen for all eternity,
just please, please, don't let our marriage end.
He won't admit this, but I know that we'd fall apart without each other,
and with our children, we've created this undeniably strong, magical tie,
but we also have a lot of passion in our marriage, which can be great,
but if I said it's been great all of the time, that would be a lie.
Your marriage, family and friends are very important to you,
you are devoted to your family and loyal to every lifelong friend,
and you've been friends to us too, more than parents,
now, there's one more thing we'd like to say before the end.
And all that he will ever wish,
and this my dearest wish too,
is that I have such a wonderful marriage,
and that I'm loved as much as he loved you.
We both cried in the middle of our vows,
I guess all that emotion was impossible to keep,
and I also know that I drank too much champagne,
and on our honeymoon night, I fell asleep!
He's become Papa to each of my four children
and has seen me through a rough divorce,
now I'm back in to a beautiful marriage
and his guidance helped this ship get back on course.
The strength of your love and your conviction,
well, that's a mighty strength indeed,
and whoever would've thought that our little night out,
would have created a marriage, destined to succeed?
I want to celebrate our love and our marriage,
and the hard work it's taken to get where we are,
and I think you'll agree that we've journeyed,
together, we certainly have travelled far.
Now you're in your 59th year of marriage to (NAME),
and together, you've worked at your family dream,
and now, with two sons and six grandchildren later,
we're very grateful you're such a wonderful team.
We wrote our entire ceremony together, including our vows,
and in those, we indoctrinated the partner role,
and I just wanted to thank you for being you,
<NAME>, I do love you, with all my all, my heart and soul.
You are the greatest gift on earth,
in fact, a gift from God above,
and now I know the meaning of marriage,
and now I know the meaning of true love.
Because it hasn't been an easy road, but we always get through,
marriage alone isn't easy but you should try adding 4 girls to the mix,
there's never a dull moment in our house, at times it's madness,
but as long as we're all together, we have the answer to life's many tricks.
You see, you have a strong heritage,
and your Dad was a "pretty good catch",
and ours has been the perfect marriage,
all in all, a sensational match.
