<TITLE OF YOUR POEM>

Hello, my wonderful handsome prince,
these words are just for you,
because I'm proud of who you are,
and yes, I'm very proud of what you do.

And now you've served your time in <PLACE>,
(but you refused treatment not to let down the team),
and I just wanted you to know that you're my hero,
you really are my perfect man, my ideal dream.

We have known each other for <NUMBER> years now,
and I loved you for all that time (with all my heart),
although we could not be together for all of those years,
it was only mere circumstance that kept us apart.

We share a love that is so special and so close,
it's like we can read and feel each other's mind,
and I know a love like ours is so very rare,
it's a precious treasure and so very hard to find.

This is the most amazing thing I've ever felt,
with you, I feel closer to the heavens above,
because with you, I've experienced the firmament,
with you, I've known the wonder of your love.

The last <NUMBER> years have been simply wonderful,
even if we weren't together for all of that time,
and I knew how much danger you were in,
I'm just so glad that there's still words to rhyme.

Just know that I also love <NAME> very much,
and I also know that you're one very proud Dad,
you make a great father, you're a true inspiration,
in fact, you're the finest father any son's ever had.
has so much, to so few, been owed.

I'm looking forward to the day when we will be together
when you're next to me, no longer interstate,
just know that I'd nurse you forever and a day,
after all, you are my one and only soul-mate.

Now, I know that I have my blond moments,
and that's something you've been known to tease me about,
but I just wanted to say that this blond thinks you're so handsome,
and you're beautiful on the inside (as well as the out).

I know that you hate it when you open up to me,
but believe me, don't leave that stuff inside,
because I tell you what I feel when I think of you,
I have this enormous and magnificent sense of pride.

We've had crazy, fun times down at <PLACE>,
<PLACE>, <PLACE>, <ACTIVITY> and doing <ACTIVITY> together,
memories that are very precious to me,
and ones that'll last forever and ever.

I love it when you sing to me,
and we both realize we've seen the sign,
I have never loved anyone like I love you,
I'm just so happy that you're mine.

The connection I can feel with you is electric,
you are my amazing lover, my very best friend,
and not only will I love you to the moon and back,
I'll love you long after I find the Universal end.

And I'm so glad that you're back home safe,
because I've never really said just how wonderful you are,
but if my love for you were a distance,
then it would be further than the furthest star.

And I just wanted to say Happy Birthday
I guess that's really what these words are for,
here's to you <NAME>, you're so funny, so wonderful,
and here's to our everlasting love for evermore.

<NAME>, you always wanted a song,
or maybe a poem, straight from the heart,
I needed some help to get creative,
but now it is all done, where shall I start?

Maybe I will start at the beginning,
yes, it's been exactly three years to the day,
and I love you more now, than I did then,
that one line leaves so very much to say:

As I truly enjoy being with you,
I love being your friend, going through life,
and I know that we'll grow old together,
happy ever after, husband and wife.

Just know that I'll always be there for you,
and that we will share our lives together,
such a great adventure, such a great blast,
one that'll last, forever and ever.

I know I've been so lucky to strike gold,
I know I've been truly blessed to find you,
<NAME>, I thank God every day,
for you, loving me as much as you do.

We've had so much fun these last years,
I know that we will in our time to come,
we'll have many more wonderful beach times,
I know our kids will be so proud, of their mom.

We've watched our love grow so beautifully,
and I know that makes us both so very proud,
but it's you who should get all the praise,
I want to get on roof tops, and sing out loud.

Because <NAME>, this is your song,
and I'll put it to music, sometime when,
in the meantime, just know that I love you,
and yes it's true, more than I did then.
