Why do you want the poem written ?: As a celebration of our love, marriage and the hard work it has taken to get to where we are.

Key Messages: Essentially my love, trust and admiration for this person who has ended up being my husband & soul mate.

Memorable Moments: Tim & I have gone through so much to get here. This 1st year has been a tough year for us emotionally. Most people I think would never survive what we continue to plough through. We've supported each other through everything. laughed, cried, screamed, you name it. It always comes back to us.

Other Comments: We fell in love in 10 years ago and fate bought us back together for a reason. We are finally now moving in the right direction after a torrid couple of years. We are building our dream home and hoping to grow our family.

When I met Tim again, he came as a package with a little boy named Hunter. They are both now firmly planted in my heart as my little family and I love them more than life itself. They are my boys!

Last thoughts: You know the the heartache that comes from such situations. But when you make to our 1st wedding anniversary I just want to celebrate that as its a HUGE milestone and let Time know through this gift for him how I feel. You can put it into words better than me.

The daunting situation of looking at this man and this little boy and thinking how will we ever make it still stays with me from those couple of years ago. I'm proud to say we've made it and I love him more than ever.

I'd got to a stage in my life, where it was dark and there was no way out, I'd misplaced the joy of life, I'd forgotten what love was all about. But once again, you stepped into my life, on your brilliant white horse, my shining knight, and where there was darkness before, now there's just your wonderful light. Because, you truly are my sunshine, and your love brightens my every day, and there's a few things you need to know, yes, there's a few words I'd like to say: Firstly, Happy 1st Anniversary my darling, there were many who said it couldn't be done, but now we're basking in our rightness, and I'm basking in you, my morning sun. I want to celebrate our love and our marriage, and the hard work it's taken to get where we are, and I think you'll agree that we've journeyed, together, we certainly have travelled far. I wanted to tell you of my love for you, if it were a colour it would have many a hue, just know that you have my trust and admiration, I'm just so very proud of what you do. We have gone through so very much to get here, and I feel lucky that I'm with my soul-mate, because who can predict the tricks of The Universe? Who can foretell the whimsical winds of fate? This first year has been tough emotionally, lesser mortals simply would not have survived, but we have continued to plough through the rough, until, in every way, as a couple, we've arrived ! We've supported each other through everything, we've laughed, we've cried, we've screamed, but through it all we've stood together, and most importantly, together, we've dreamed. How on earth can I describe my happiness? Perhaps you could tell me how? Because we dreamed of a brighter future, one that was exciting (and it's here, right now). Because when I met you again after 10 years, you were a package and no longer alone, and this girl had some growing up to do, and because of you both, I have truly grown. You are both planted firmly in my heart, you are planted there as my little family, and from what was once a little acorn, it is now a mighty, resplendent oak tree. And I love you both more than life itself, you are both truly my soul, my joys, in fact, I should put it in other words, you are my life, you are my boys ! At times the heartache has been enormous, and I could, but I wont, go on at length, just know that it was our love that kept us going, and there were many times when I needed that inner strength. Indeed, this is such a huge smilestone, in fact, I'm grinning from ear to ear, because I know that together we can face the future, and after what we've been through, we've nothing to fear. I remember just a couple of years ago, looking at you two and thinking: "How The Hell?" But I had faith that our love would get us through, and in truth, I think we've done rather well. Ours has been a bit of an adventure, I can't wait for the next instalment to unfold, I'm looking forward to our future chapters, as yet unwritten and untold. Because I know there'll be a happy ending, and who knows how big that tree will grow? Just know that I love you so very much, in fact, that's all you will ever need to know.
