A poem for Husband from Wife saying how very proud of him and how very much in love she still is with him.
We have been asked not to publish the details of this request.
Scotty
Hello, my wonderful husband,
these lines are just for you,
because I'm proud of who you are,
and I'm very proud of what you do.
I love you so very much,
you've been so very nice to me,
you've taught me what love means,
and how it's a splendid place to be.
You're always so very supportive,
helpful, loving and always very kind,
and when I fall asleep at nights,
I have this wonderful man on my mind.
Because I'm proud to be your wife,
proud to have been married eleven magical years,
we've created some wonderful memories,
we've shared so much laughter (and a few tears).
We have four beautiful children,
and I know being a Pappy makes you proud,
and we want to shout your name from the roof tops,
we want to sing your praises nice and loud.
Because you're more than a husband and a father,
you've been like my very best friend,
and I want you to know how much I love you,
before these lines come to their respective end.
You contribute so much to this family,
and you work hard near every single day,
but you also enjoy your golf and you love to cook,
you achieve a fine balance of work, rest and play.
But you'll always stop what you're doing,
if it means helping out your family,
you seem happiest when you make others happy,
and I'm so glad that applies particularly to me.
Anytime we take a family vacation,
you become Sparky from the National Lampoon,
we follow a strict and detailed timetable,
but our holidays are always over and way too soon.
But seriously, I really do love you very much,
and that's really what these words are for,
it's to let you know just how special you are to me,
and that I'll love you forever, for evermore.
And I hope that the message has gotten through,
because I've given it my very best shot,
just know that I'll always be there for you,
come hell or high water - no matter what. |
