A poem for Wife from Husband, this is his second marriage, she came along and picked up the pieces and now he has found his inner peace.
We have been asked not to publish the details of this request.
Sanctum Of Tranquillity
You carry our love inside of you,
a living miracle, safe and warm within,
and I love you so very much,
and I don't know where to begin.
I have such a lot to say,
and it?s hard just knowing where to start,
because I have so many feelings to share,
and they need transferring from my heart.
This is my second marriage,
it didn't work the first time around.
my heart was in pieces,
and I was in the "lost and found".
Then I met a beautiful woman,
I was cautious but goggle-eyed,
she saw my past and my future,
and she saw the potential that I had inside.
So you literally rebuilt me,
from the foundations to the upper floor,
and that is why I love you so,
and that is why I'll love you for evermore.
I had three children from my first,
but you love them like they're your own,
you've shown them so much of your love,
and their love too has gently grown.
You understand my financial obligations,
with never a complaint that I've heard,
you simply accept my commitments,
with maybe a thought but never a word.
With you I feel whole,
I have now found my inner peace,
I stare in wonder at your love and care,
and I know that these wonders will never cease.
We've purchased our farm,
and I no longer wish to roam,
I dreamt that home is where my heart is,
and together we've built our dream home.
I'm looking forward to our future,
we still have our golden years to come,
me as the devoted father,
you as the loving Mom.
The Sanctum Of Tranquillity,
that's what I'll call our farm from this day on,
because this is where our love has blossomed,
and my love for you has brightly shone.
So let's live our days to the full,
and not let our outlook become overcast,
let us fill our hearts with hopes and joy,
because no matter, one day will be our last.
You are so very beautiful,
on the inside and the out,
you have simply shown me,
what true love is all about.
And I just wanted to say thank you,
with you I've found a better place to be,
and with you, I have found eternal peace,
in our Sanctum Of Tranquillity. |
