A love poem for Wife from Husband saying she is the love of his life.
We have been asked not to publish the details of this request.
Sailing
Hello, my wonderful wife,
Sharon, this poem is just for you,
because I'm proud of who you are,
and I'm so very proud of what you do.
Do you know how much I really love you?
At times, my words don't describe exactly how I feel,
but that doesn't mean that I don't love you,
it doesn't make my love for you any less real.
And here we both are, sailing through life,
two boats on the ocean of time,
two yachts sailing as one,
two poets getting their words to rhyme.
And God has guided us on our way,
we've certainly been blessed from up above.
How lucky can one man be?
I'm surrounded by His and your love.
And together we'll sail to our sunsets,
together we'll sail, hand in hand,
and we'll find our far off horizons,
together we'll find our promised land.
And life won't always be easy,
and we'll ram the odd dock or three,
but we'll be safe in our knowledge,
that we are simply meant to be.
You're such a giving person,
you're admired and respected by all,
your support and love have given me purpose,
as a result, I feel about ten feet tall.
And of all the shipmates I could have chosen,
you're the fairest and best by far,
and whenever I'm in need of navigation,
I'll just look to you, my shining star.
Because you are the billow in my sails,
you're the feel of a salt breeze in my face,
and together we'll find our fair winds,
and together we'll find our safe port, our promised place. |
