Briefly, why do you want the poem written: My younger sister is getting married in a few weeks and I will be giving a toast. I wanted to share my feelings for how happy I am for her and the both of them

What are the key messages you would like to send: Varsha..this is a one of the most beautiful life experiences you are having at this moment, on this day I have been waiting to share my heart with you and am glad to be able to finally tell you that I am so happy for you in this poem...we have been through so much in the past...moments of happiness, sadness, tears and anger, doubting times, lonely times... and have known that we have had each other...for 8 years you lived with me and we shared many parts of our life together and when I got married you started with your own life with Bert...Next to being my sister she has been also been one of my closest friends. She will always be someone that I will always be there for and take care of at all times I have known her for her lifetime and still rememeber the beginning years of Varsha and how adorable she was in her early years...

Do you have any funny, sad, happy, embarrassing or otherwise memorable moments that you would like to share: Bert and Varsh...I still remember the day when Bert was still getting to know you and was trying hard to impress you and was not sure how to handle a situation and he had come to me and asked me if he was doing the right thing..and I turned to him and said don't worry in time you will know my little sister without blinking an eye and the two of you will just understand each other...it has been five plus years and I can't see anyone that undertands you Varsha more so than Bert..he loves you and I am so happy to have him part of your life and now part of the family

Do you have any other comments or thoughts: Knowing Bert and Varsha as a couple and watching the two grow and become the more funnier crazier couple that they are together...Bert, I am glad you have come into my sister's life because you have tamed a side of her that had gone wild...and brought a light into her that I have never seen before until she met you...you two are a match made in heaven..I hope that we will look back together and talk of these times as if they were yesterday and share a lot of laughs and smiles as we do today.I hope that Bert and Varsha will enjoy their new life together...Married life is by far the best thing that I have ever done in my life..and Dharu and I have become ever so close as each day passes by..I wish the same for the two of you and hope that 70 years from now you will still be seeing yourselves as newlyweds....

Eternal Love

Ladies and gentlemen, can I have your attention please? Because every now and then in life, there's opportunity you should seize. And that moment is upon us, after all, it's not every day your sister gets wed, and I've got some thoughts on my mind, yes, there's a few heartfelt words that need to be said. Firstly, I wanted to say how happy, I am, firstly, you do look so wonderful together, and I know you share a special kind of love, and it's one that's destined to last, forever and ever. Varsha, today is one of the most beautiful experiences, one of the most beautiful experiences in your life, so just make sure you drink in every single minute, like I said, it's not every day you get to become a wife. I too, have waited for this day for so long, I've been dying to share what's here in my heart, I really wanted to say "I love you", but in truth, I didn't know where to start. Because we've shared so much together, happiness, sadness, tears, anger, doubting and lonely times, but through it all , we know we had each other, and that helped us to find the reasons in our rhymes. You lived with me for 8 great years, and in that time, there was a lot that we shared, and we found out a lot about each other, I found that I had a sister that really cared. But of course, nothing ever stays the same, and I started a married life of my own, and that's when you started your life with Burt, and ever since, your love has just grown and grown. And there's a few other things that you should know, especially before these lines come to their ends, becuase Varsha, you're more that a sister to me, in truth, you are one of my dearest friends. I want you to know that I'll always be there for you, I've watched you grow ever since you were this high, you were so adorable in your early years, now, I'd better explain that (or at least, I'll try). You see, you've grown up so beautifully, and remember, I've know you since you were a child, but I must admint, at times, you've worried me, and there were parts of you that had grown a little wild. But Bert (maybe I should call you the lion trainer), be tamed and cooled your still beautiful but wild side, and today, you look the happiest you've ever been, and I'm sure everybody agrees, you make a beautiful bride. And I've watched you two grow together, grow to become the funny, crazy couple you are today, and I know Bert loves you so very much, now, I do have a few last things to say: Bert, now you know my sister without blinking an eye, and Varsha, you now have someone who truly understands, and I hope in 70 years time, you're still newly weds, I hope in 70 years time, you're still holding hands. Because Varsha, there's now something inside of you, you have a wondrous light that wasn't there before, and I know it's because you've met your match (made in heaven), it's because you share a love that'll last for evermore. And married life is by far the best thing I've ever done, Dharu and I love each other more with every passing hour, so please, just let your love blossom and grow, and nurture it, like the world's most precious flower,. Because what you share is truly spiritual, you're a match made and born in the heavens above, and I just wanted to wish you lifelong happiness, but most of all, I wish for your eternal love. Because I do love you both so very much, and I hope there's not a dry eye in the room, because I want to say I'm proud of you, and let's drink to Bert and Varsha, the bride and groom.
