Why do you want the poem written ?: Our 1st year anniversary of dating

Memorable Moments: Most memorable -- our first date. We went to the 4 P's restaurant for dinner, then walking back to the car, he kissed me for the first time and off in the distance the bells of the National Cathedral began to chime. When we heard the bells, we said that the "angels were clapping." Afterwards we sat on the steps behind the Lincoln Memorial watching the world go by. On that cold January night, sitting with him I was totally warm and happy.

Other Comments: I found complete happiness and pure love with Russ. He makes me laugh, smile and giggle without any effort. He is my knight in shinning armor. He truly is my soul mate. We can think a like and complete each other sentences. Similar yet different upbringings.

Sir Lancelot

I remember our most memorable moment, in fact, it was our very first date, two ships, all at sea and looking for each other, two ships blown together by the winds of fate. We went to the 4P's for dinner, then walking back you kissed me for the very first time, and I was already short of breath, when in the distance the bells began to chime. We said that it must be the angels clapping, and I certainly think we've been blessed from above, because our love must have been made in heaven, because, after all, it is such a perfect love. And afterwards we sat on the steps of the Lincoln Memorial, and I can remember us watching the world go by, and on that cold January night, I felt totally warm and happy, and that's not a word of a lie. Because this past year has been the best of my life, I've never, ever felt so fulfilled, and that year will be our foundation, our foundation on which to build. Because I feel as if I've started a new life, on the day that I fell in love with you, you are literally my dreams personified, and believe me, Cupid's aim was running true. We had similar but different upbringings, and I know that this will make some scoff, but we do have the same thoughts, and we can finish each other's sentences ---. And you really are the love of my life, you're my best friend, my confidant, truly my soul-mate, and I'm very grateful to those heavens above, and I'm very thankful for those winds of fate. I have found complete and utter happiness, you make me laugh, smile and giggle an awful lot, you truly are my knight in bright and shining armor, and for more reasons than one, I think I'll call you Sir Lancelot.
