What are the key messages you would like to send: DEVOTION, DEDICATION, THRU HARD AND EASY, THICK AND THIN, I ALWAYS BE HERE, NEVER QUITTING. LEAVING THE PAST IN THE PAST, APOLOGIZING FOR THE HARD TIMES, LOOKING FORWARD TO THE NEW AND GOOD. I AM SERIOUS ABOUT US, NOW AND FOREVER. I FORGIVE ALL THE WRONGS AND WANT TO CHANGE FOR THE BETTER OF US. HIS LOVE IS WHAT GIVES ME LIFE. HIS TOUCH IS WHAT GIVES ME STRENGTH AND REASSURANCE.

Do you have any funny, sad, happy, embarrassing or otherwise memorable moments that you would like to share: SAD: LOSING TANK (OUR PUPPY), FIGHTING/ARGUING, LOTS OF LITTLE STUFF I CANT REMEMBER HAPPY: THE DAY WE WERE MARRIED, DEPLOYMENT TO PSAB, BEING CLOSE WITH HIM AND DOING NOTHING, BEING A FAMILY, GETTING THE NAVIGATOR. MEMORABLE: FIRST STEPS ON OUR LAND IN PANAMA, PROPOSING, HIS HUGS AND TOUCHES.

Do you have any other comments or thoughts: I AM CURRENTLY DEPLOYED TO IRAQ. WE HAVE HAD A BAD FIRST YEAR. I WANT TO MAKE UP FOR IT, BUT I CANT RIGHT NOW, AND PROBABLY WONT BE ABLE TO FOR AWHILE. THINGS ARE CURRENTLY BAD WITH US. I DONT WANT TO LOSE THE MOST VALUABLE THING IN MY LIFE.

What style of poem would you prefer (happy, sad, romantic etc.): I NEED THIS TO BE A DEAD SERIOUS POEM. ONE THAT ENSURES OUR LAST YEAR, THOUGH IT WAS HARD, WAS NOT A WASTE. HE'S IS MY EVERYTHING. I HAVE NOTHING WITHOUT HIM. I AM SERIOUS ABOUT US AND OUR MARRIAGE AND OUR FUTURE. I'M GOING TO DO ANYTHING TO KEEP IT FROM BEING JEOPARDIZED.

Hard, Not A Waste

Hello, my wonderful husband, these words are just for you, because I'm proud of who you are, and I'm very proud of what you do. And I just wanted to say "I love you", but in truth, I didn't know where to start, so I thought I'd share a few feelings, give you some words, they're straight from the heart: Firstly, I'd like to begin by looking skywards, and thanking those in the heavens above, because I know I've been blessed to have shared you, I know that I've been blessed with your love. Look, I know our first year hasn't been easy, but life is rarely, if ever, a rose filled dream but through all this, we can still be together, we can prove to the world we truly are a team. I am totally devoted and dedicated to you, through hard and easy, thick and thin, I will always be here for you, I'll never quit, and together, we can teach the other how to win. I know we've had lots of troubled times, we lost Tank and we've fought and argued a lot, but I do know that you are the one precious thing I have, with you in my life, I know exactly what I've got. So, let's leave the past in the past, you simply can't undo what's already been done, just know that your love is my light, my inspiration, in every way, you are like my morning sun. Officially, I'd like to say sorry for the hard times, and "sorry" is always a hard thing to say, and if I could take back some of my words and actions, well, I certainly would (but clocks only go the one way). So let us look forward to the new and good, I am serious about us, for now and forever, I forgive all the wrongs and I want us to change, I want us to be better and in more ways than one, be together Your touch gives me such strength and assurance, your love permeates me and gives me life, and I just wanted to say "I'm proud of you", I'm very proud that I'm known as your wife. I've blanked out most of our unhappy moments, because we've shared some great times, too many to list, just know that each and everyone is simply precious, there's not one that I would have missed. Remember the day that we got married? Getting the Navigator? Deployment to PSAB? The first steps on our land in Panama, look, we've shared so much, just you and me. Your hugs and touches are so very special, I love being close with you and doing nothing at all, and it's because of you that I walk taller, in fact, I feel about twenty feet tall. And I just want us to be a family, and look, I know we've had a bad first year, and now I'm deployed in Iraq, that makes it harder, you could feel my love if I could just hold you near. But I want to make it all up to you, although I probably wont be able to for a while, but I don't want to lose the most valuable thing in my life, because I love you, I love your face, your smile. I know things are currently bad with us, just like any medicine, it's left an aftertaste, but I know that the future can be brighter, this last year's been hard, not a waste. And I just wanted to say "I love you", you see, I've never said just how wonderful you are, but if my love for you were a distance, then it would be further than the furthest star. I also wanted to say Happy First Anniversary, I guess that's what these words are for, here's to you, Justo, you're truly wonderful, and here's to our everlasting love, for evermore.
