A4: My husband and I have been separated from our marriage bed since the summer of 1998. However, we live in the same house because of our 16 year old son. He now has asked me for a divorce and has told me that he is fond of another woman. He told me that I am no longer the key that unlocks his heart and that he has strong feelings for this other woman. We have been married for 18 years and this is a very trying time for us. He says that the Most High Power has giving this woman to him now and that she is his gift.

Q5: What are the key messages you would like the poem to send ?
A5: Remembrance of our years together and the beautiful son we created from his seed. That the Most High may be testing his faith by putting this woman in his life as a temptation to try him and his faith. That I love him with all my heart and that our love sprung out of our friendship all those years ago when I was the key that unlocked his heart when we were young. That the turns and trials and tribulations in our lives have changed us from the friends that we used to be to almost enemies. that i want to be his friend and his wife for the rest of my life, but that I will not be used or emotionally abused anymore. That he needs to pray about all that we have accomplished and really be sure that he wants to be with a woman that knows he is married, has a son and wants to be in the middle. Is this the character of a virtuous woman?

A6: The birth of our son. The sincerity of our marriage vows.

Q7: Do you have any other comments or thoughts ?
A7: I am hurting and so is my son and he is slowly loosing respect for his farther because of the way he has been conducting himself lately and his total disregard for our family and for our well being.

Keys

These words are so very hard for me, I just don't know where to start. It maybe impossible in just a few verses, to find the key that will open your heart. I remember a time (not so long ago), we both happily sang the same song. What the hell happened? Where on earth did we go wrong? There was a time when you loved me, and I loved you right back, we were lovers walking hand in hand, walking down life's meandering track. And then you proposed to me, and I dreamt of wedded bliss, never imagined the heartache, never thought it would come to....this. I know that there's another woman, and that simply must end, because I want to be your wife forever, I want to be your lifelong friend. And triangles are messy affairs, one side too many for a straight line. So, please go and pray, test your faith, and ask the question: "Am I doing fine?" Samuel was borne out of our love, proud and tall, or belittled and small? Samuel needs your love and guidance, and did our marriage vows mean nothing at all? Eighteen years is a long, long time, too much to simply just throw away. This is the first day of the rest of our lives, so let's make it a rather special day. Because I still love you so much, and I know that Samuel does too, he needs a father in his life, and he just needs to be close to you. So, I would like to bury the hatchet, forget our sins of the past, and start again on our journey, this time we'll both make the journey last. We haven't slept together for three years, and I literally ache for you deep inside, I've cried me a river with you not lying there, and my feelings have got no place left to hide. And the ache I have for you, is real and comes from deep within. So, can't we just start over again? Can't we both learn how to begin? Our love sprung out of our friendship, all those many, many years ago, and that love needs some nurturing, in needs to find room to grow. I know that I'm no angel, and I haven't done everything right, but let me make it up to you, and let me hold you close tonight. Let's unlock the love in our hearts, hide and seek is a game that we've played, you see, we need to find those keys again, because they're not lost, they're just mislaid.
