Golden

You are both so very much loved, and both have a heart of gold, and your story of love and endurance, is a story that needs to be told. Hello, our wonderful parents, these lines are just for you, they are a token of our appreciation, for everything that you've been through. You see, you two are simply stars, like two wonderful guiding lights, you are our daily sunshine, you make day out of the darkest nights. Fifty per cent of marriages end in divorce, but our five have remained resolutely intact, because you've shown us what love is for, simply said - but a matter of fact. We are so very proud of you, just know that you're surrounded by love, and that we're praying for your health, and looking for help from the heavens above. Our family is so very close, your grandchildren adore you so, and you care and look out for them, watching them proudly as they grow. You two are made for each other, opposite in parts but together as one, and you both love all of your children, and you're still baby-sitting your grandson. To provide for your family, you have worked so very hard and long, you're always there to help and listen, and to help us be and feel so strong. You've made so many sacrifices, you went without so we did not, you gave us everything you had, and your love was an awful lot. We've had so many golden times together, and we've got many more to come, so thanks for being our parents, thank you Dad, thank you Mom. Because you've been there for us, you've loved us more than enough, you've taught us how to love and be strong, and how to get going when the going gets tough. So happy Golden Anniversary, we hope you enjoyed our say, we're just so glad that you kept your word, to the promises you made on your wedding day. And we just wanted to say thanks, that's what these lines are for, just know that we love you now, and we will always love you for evermore.
