Why do you want the poem written: I want him to know that I love him more than anything. He is my best friend, and my love. That I thank God everday for sending him to me. I am the luckiest women to have him in my life

What are the key messages you would like to send: Andres and I have known each other since I was 13 and he was 20. I viewed him as another brother, and he viewed me as a little sister. As I got older I started developing stronger feelings for him. I always kept them inside, and would get jealous when he dated girls.I would always come to him with my guy problems and he would come to me with his girl problems. He is the type that any one can count on, everyone turns to him for advice. Well, 8 yrs later at the age of 21, he found out my feelings towards him. Little did I know that he had strong feelings for me all this time too! He thought I would never like him in that way, I was like are you crazy I would always pray that God send me a guy just like him, sincere, romantic,funny,respectful,handsome, every women's dream guy. I envied the girls he would date, they were so lucky to have him in their life. My prayers were answered because we have been together for a year now november 28/2004. I am so happy to have him in my life, we never argue, I am at peace because I trust him with my own life, I can go to him with any problems. We have talked about marriage, no engagment yet, but he is the man that I want to spend the rest of my life with, and have a family.

Do you have any funny, sad, happy, embarrassing or otherwise memorable moments that you would like to share: We always have happy moments, never sad because we have not had one disagreement. Andres is very romantic when he asked me out officially I said yes of course, but i wasn't sure what my parents would think. He went and formally talked to my parents and asked him if it was ok. Little did I know that my parents always wanted us to get together! He always surprises me with flowers or little love poems. And before I could are NOT going to stop once we are married! And to make sure I tell my married friends that! I just find it amazing that everthing happens for a reason. In the past we were looking for love all in the wrong places, and all this time love was right in front of our eyes. We shared our friendship, now this is the moment where we combine our love and cherish every second together.

Do you have any other comments or thoughts: Andres is my Knight in shining armor, every girl's dream (turned to reality for me)! He is my soulmate my best friend and my love for him is a never ending journey!

Do you have any last comments or thoughts: I want Andres to know how much I love him and what he means to me when he reads this poem. He does know how I feel about him but i feel that poems offer an alternate deeper feeling.

The Princess's Heart

Andres, I love you more than anything, you are my love, my very best friend, and I just wanted to say "I love you", (I may do so before these lines have their end). The past year has been simply wonderful, truly, it has been the year of my dreams, every month, we became closer and closer, we became one of the world's greatest teams. And it took us a while to become an item, I guess it was seven years, to be precise, but all great things in life are worth waiting for, but great often comes at a great price. But that's not how it is with you, my darling, because you are my all, my everything, I thank God every day for sending you to me, and one day, I will be honored to wear your ring. In truth, I'm the luckiest woman alive, yes, I'm the luckiest on this planet Earth, because I know your true and honest value, yes, I know exactly what your love is worth. I always used to think of you as another brother, I know I was a little sister to you as well, and we used to share our guy and girl problems, and I guess we had enough of those to tell. Actually, I used to get jealous when you'd date other girls, because my feelings for you were growing, here inside, and I asked God to send me someone just like you, and He couldn't have done better - even if He'd tried! Because anyone else would have been a poor imitation, because it was you that I loved, all the way along, and now, I'm at peace because I trust you with my own life and I know, in my heart, you will never do me wrong. Little did I know you had feelings for me too, but night after night, I prayed and prayed sincere, romantic,funny,respectful and handsome, when I look at you I see the hand that God has played. You are the type that any and everyone counts on, your valued advice is very often sought, and I know what we have is so very precious, it's a rare treasure which can neither be sold nor bought. I am so happy to have you in my life, we never argue and it's "me" you understand, I can always come to you with any problem, and you'll lend a sympathetic ear or a helping hand. We always have only happy, never sad, moments, it's because we can't find thing to disagree about, and I just wanted to thank you for being you, you've taught this girl what love is all about. And you're such a perfect gent, a true romantic, your little presents always give me a such lift, and you've told me that even when we're married, you said that you'll still make a point of giving me a gift. Well, I think "you", are indeed, my real gift, because I love you truly, with all my heart and soul, for with you in my life, I feel complete, you are the one that makes me completely whole. And I guess we were always looking in the wrong places, but my parent's hopes were right all that time, and they say that everything happens for a reason, well, I know you are the reason in my rhyme. But more than that, you're my knight in shining armor, and I love you more with each and every passing hour, you've made this princess's dream come true, you're rescued the damsel from her lonely tower. And I promised that I'd say "I love you", well, that was something I promised at the very start, just know that you have rescued your princess, but better than that, you have captured the princess's heart.
