A Valentines poem to boyfriend asking him to be more romantic like their first date.
Q1: What is your Name?
A1: Charlene
Q2: What is your Email Address?
A2:
Q3: Who do you want the poem written for ?
A3: Bill
Q4: Why do you want the poem written ?
A4: Because I'm always trying to get Bill to be more romantic. I think this will be a cute reminder. I mean it would be so romantic if he had a serious poem written for me. I can dream, but it'll never happen so this will be our little joke. I want to give it to him for Valentine's Day with a bottle of wine, candy and flowers.
Q5: What are the key messages you would like the poem to send ?
A5: I can be bought with romance. HaHa He lives in the Florida Keys and beaches don't mean anything to him. I'm from Oklahoma and I love the beach. I keep trying to get him to walk on the beach in the moonlight. How romantic is that?
Q6: Do you have any funny, sad, happy, embarrassing or otherwise memorable moments that you would like to share ?
A6: We met online and met face to face one day before my birthday on September 22, 2000. He was romantic that weekend and never again. He said he liked my feet because I don't have Keys feet. Apparently women in the Keys go barefoot a lot and don't get pedicures. He has the funnest dog, a male bulldog named Red Dog and I have a female beagle mix named Chuck. They have more romance in their life than we do. I guess there's been twice he's been romantic. Our first weekend and New Years. Everything through the limo ride and dinner to the partying at home was magical. He even danced with me for a minute and the midnight kiss was wonderful.
Q7: Do you have any other comments or thoughts ?
A7: While his daughter, Francie, was visiting him over the Christmas holidays her boyfriend sent her a CD with a note attached to listen to a certain song. I told Bill that that was so romantic and asked him why he didn't do stuff like that. He said I was too old for romance. I'm 46 and I told him women are never too old for romance. He's a great guy and we have a blast together, but romance is not involved. He says we make great companions and I'm thinking he has the smoothest hands. Different wave links for sure. . He loves his rum and I love my beer. For Christmas I gave him a white polo shirt because I couldn't wrap his sexual request, but I enclosed a card telling him he could have whatever he wanted. He gave me a book with no special meaning attached. HaHa The book was the newest release from my favorite author so he did put some thought into it and it was great, but!!!
Q8: What style of poem would you prefer ? (Happy, sad, romantic etc.)
A8: I think he'll relate to happy humorous best.
Q9: Which charity would you like your donation made to ?
A9: Domestic Violence
Q10: Choose either the economy, standard, unique, deluxe or combo package.
A10: standard
The Moon and Walking
How I'd wish you'd hold my hand,
look me straight in the eyes,
and then say the "walking" words,
now, that would be a surprise !
Just the two of us hand in hand,
wouldn't that make a wonderful sight,
a beach, gentle waves with warm sand,
let's not forget that special moonlight.
And gee - how I wish
for stars and those moonlit walks,
hushed and intimate conversations,
romantic and lovers secret talks.
Now you may think that I'm silly,
or just an old fashioned fool,
but we have such a blast together,
and well, you're kinda cool.
And just like my unpackaged Xmas present,
these thoughts are hard to wrap,
but I think that I'm hooked on you,
I've walked into your subtle trap.
I know that you've got it somewhere,
(a New Years kiss, a magical dance),
and we're not too old for some serious "loving",
so we're not too old for serious romance.
And in the romance department,
I know who gets all the luck,
a certain bulldog (called Red Dog),
is sweet on a girl named Chuck !
It was wonderful that we met online,
hearts connected by several live wires,
fingers sent keyboards a tapping,
and slowly lit some burning fires.
And the day that we met,
(the day before my birthday),
you were so very romantic,
I was nearly swept away.
And we are different people,
and on separate wavelengths for sure,
but I need some romancing,
yes I admit - I need more !
And we've had some wild nights,
and I guess we could sit here talking,
but hey - can you feel the moonlight ?
Get your shoes on, we're going walking ! |
