A Poem to be read by the Bride to the Groom on the morning of their Wedding, they both believe that it was fate that they met

Why do you want the poem written: I want to give it to him on the morning of our wedding
What are the key messages you would like to send: That i thought i would never find love, and get married to a person that has given me the ability to believe in life and Everything i do. He is my everything
Do you have any funny, sad, happy, embarrassing or otherwise memorable moments that you would like to share: We met in a night club in Wales while he was over to watch a rally. He is Irish, never been to Wales, and i never went to that nightclub, especially on a Thursday. He asked me to dance and i said no, but he kept on looking and i decided to approach him for a chat .He had beautiful blue, kind eyes.
Do you have any other comments or thoughts: I?m a strong believer in fate, he is now also.
I lost a brother and he lost his dad. They will be there in spirit on this special day.
I want him to know that with love and friendship anything is possible as long as we have each other.

Rallying Around
Hello, my wonderful Brian,
yes, this is our wedding day,
and I've got so much love in my heart,
yes, I do have quite a lot to say:
You see, I never thought I'd find this,
I never thought I'd find a love, so pure and true,
and I just wanted to say "thanks",
I wanted to thank you for being you.
You've given me so very much already,
you've given me the ability to believe in life,
and I just wanted to say I'm proud of you,
I'm very proud to be called your wife.
You've also made me believe me in myself,
and that everything I do can be achieved,
so you've given me more than life, you've given me hope,
you've created my very own dream to be believed.
You're Irish and you'd never been to Wales,
and I never went to that club, it's as simple as that,
you asked me to dance, I said no, but you kept looking,
I thought "nice eyes" and I approached for a chat.
And as they say, the rest is history,
we were blown along by the winds of fate,
but I'm so glad that you rallied around,
because you are my one and only soul-mate.
And we've come a long way from that night club,
that rally really has rallied and travelled you far,
just know that if my love for you were a rally,
then it would be further than the furthest star.
I lost a brother, you lost your Dad,
and we'll never be able to fill that hole in our hearts,
but I know that they'll both be with us here today,
and of course, they'll give us the very best of starts.
And I know that they'll be looking out for us,
after all, you had a great Dad and I, a lovely brother,
they too know that all you need is love and friendship,
everything is possible as long as we have each other.
So, Brian, these are my words to you,
I just wanted to thank you for making me whole,
and now, I promise me to you, for all eternity,
I promise you my life, my heart, my very soul. |
