A Silver Wedding Anniversary poem to parents who have given her so much love plus a Mercedes!
What is your name : Jenny
Who do you want the poem written for: my mom and dad
Why do you want the poem written: Their 25th anniversary is coming
What are the key messages you would like to send: That i love them and hope they enjoy their 25th wedding anniversary. That there love and support has gotten me so far. They have provided me with a wonderful life trying to make each day better for me. They pay for my college and my masters at Adelphi University, my Lasik eye surgery, my wonderful Mercedes CLK convertible, any material object i could think of, love, alot of laughter, and support in anything i do. Even though they might yell at us we knows its because they are trying to keep us on the right path and lead us in the right direction. i hope my kids love me as much as i love them
Do you have any funny, sad, happy, embarrassing or otherwise memorable moments that you would like to share: Everyday is wonderful and fun. Even though I am 24 years old and my brother 22 years old, we still fight as though we are younger, its pretty funny at times. My brother is getting married next year to a wonderful girl named Diana. He complains that they spend to much money on me, but they spend just as much money on him, he's just jealous that I?m the favorite. They took us on vacation to wonderful places every year, Cancun, St. Martin, Hawaii, Pt. Vallarta, Florida, California and wonderful times in Wildwood...Romania, Yugoslavia, Bahamas etc... They also gave me the opportunity to go on a cruize to Bermuda and Italy. They say I always laugh, but that because they make my life full of laughter and never given my brother and i any reason to be sad. My brother Motts, and my dad, Mike make my mother, Kathy and i laugh everyday my mom almost peed in her pants once.
Do you have any other comments or thoughts: My mom is from Yugoslavia and my dad is from Romania but they met in America. They did not start off with a lot but definatly have accomplished alot. We have more then anyone should, but they help out everyone. They have wonderful hearts and try to help out everyone. My mom loves apple stuff and my dad loves boxing, he was in the navy and my mom probably thought he was really hot in his uniform
What style of poem would you prefer (happy, sad, romantic etc.): Funny
Please choose which package you would prefer: Deluxe
Do you have any last comments or thoughts: i would like to know if i think of other thoughts or funny moments if i can add it in within the next week?
As I Do You
Hello, my wonderful Mom and Dad,
these words are just for you,
because I'm proud of who you are,
and yes, I'm very proud of what you do.
And I just wanted to say "I love you",
but in truth, I didn't know where to start,
so I thought I'd share a few thoughts,
and give you some words, straight from the heart.
I really hope you that you enjoy your 25th,
and that you both have a really splendid day,
because it's been your magnificent love and support,
well, it's because of that I've managed to find my way.
You truly have set a perfect example,
you are the epitome of husband and wife,
and you try and make my life better every day,
and so far, you've given me such a wonderful life.
You pay for my college and my masters,
my eyes (and I won't forget my wonderful car),
and if my love for you were a distance,
then it would be further than the furthest star.
We also have a lot of laughs along the way,
and I'd like to thank you for your wondrous support,
and even though you yell at us some times,
we know that it's a lesson that should be taught.
I just hope my kids love me as much as I do you,
and I also hope they don't fight like my brother and I,
he reckons that you spend too much money on me,
well, I've hardly seen him struggling to get by!
You've both given us so many wonderful memories,
in truth, there's too many to individually list,
just know that everyone is simply precious,
there's not one that we would've missed.
Cancun, St. Martin, Hawaii, Pt. Vallarta,
Florida and California, so many wonderful times
Wildwood, Romania, Yugoslavia, Bahamas
did you know that etcetera is one of the more difficult rhymes?
I've also cruised Bermuda and I've been to Italy,
literally, you have given me wings and they've unfurled,
and officially, I do want to say a sincere "thank you",
without you, I never would have seen half my world.
You also say that I always laugh and that I'm happy,
well, that's because there's never a reason to be sad,
and that's because you've made our lives so full of laughter,
we know we're lucky to have you as parents, Mom and Dad.
Actually, I think Motts and Dad make my mother,
in truth, they give her everything she'll ever need,
but Mom and I have a great laugh everyday,
and I won't talk about the time you nearly peed!
You've both come a long from your roots,
Romania and Yugoslavia seem like a different Earth,
and you didn't start with, but you've accomplished much,
you've proved what two parent's can be really worth.
And I know that we have more than anyone should,
but you're generous and you help out everyone,
and I just wanted to thank you for being you,
you've been my inspiration, my light, my morning sun.
I also wanted to say Happy 25th Anniversary,
I guess that's really what these words are for,
here's to you, Mom and Dad, you're truly wonderful,
and here's to loving me, as I do you, for evermore! |
