A message for our Granddaughter
Great is what you are
Right from the very day of your birth,
All of our dreams and love personified,
Never really knew what one child could be worth.
Destiny graced us with your presence,
Delightfully, we?ve watched you as you?ve grown,
All ribbons and curls, sugar and spice,
Unquestionably, we?re grateful for the love that you?ve shown.
Granddaughter, you?re so very special,
Happy and beautiful is what you are,
The bright light in our night sky,
Everlasting, ever shining, our twinkling star.
Right from the moment we first saw you,
We?ve loved you from our very hearts,
Everything you do makes us laugh and smile,
Like it or not, you?re the sum of all our parts.
One day you will also be a grandparent,
Very soon, that moment will be here, before you know it,
Every joy of ours will be yours,
You?ll too know the Grandparent?s spirit,
Ours is such a lucky place to be,
Undoubtedly, the finest time of our lives,
Very much is how much we love you,
Much because of you, our love simply thrives. |
