What are the key messages you would like to send: coming out on the other side of having children, teenagers and now grandchildren and going through some hard times he is even more so my best friend and the love of my life and always my hero.

Do you have any funny, sad, happy, embarrassing or otherwise memorable moments that you would like to share: When our seventeen year old daughter told us she was pregnant my husband (Brett) did not want anything to do with our new granddaughter on the way now we have two granddaughters that he can't stand to be away from. We have two Boys that we thought would never amount to anything and are now wonderful friends to us as is our daughter. We have created generations of Great people. When we met I was 16 and he was 17 and we have been through many funny, sad, happy, and embarrassing times.

Do you have any other comments or thoughts : This will be our 25th anniversary. Our wedding date is August 24 1980. I would need this ASAP if possible. P.S. we did not have a big beautiful wedding, we were arguing one day I was 9 months pregnant with our second son and he said we should get married so my mom watched our first son and we left for Las Vagas. I was huge and poor and hade to barrow a dress it was black. Now we have a successful roofing company. My husband worked very hard and built it from the ground up all on his own. (Shelton Roofing )

Always My Hero

Hello, my wonderful Brett, these words are just for you, because I'm proud of who you are, and I'm very proud of what you do. And I just wanted to say "I love you", but in truth, I didn't know where to start, so I thought I'd share a few feelings, and give you some words, straight from the heart. Firstly, I'd like to begin by looking skywards, and thanking those in the heavens above, because I know I've been blessed to have shared you, I know that I've been blessed with your love. I wanted to remind you how much I still love you, you're such an incredible person, a true friend to me, and I just wanted to thank you for being you, you've made my world a great place to be. We've had children, teenagers and now grandchildren, and yet, we've still come out smiling, the other side, and I know I couldn't have chosen a finer husband, I know I couldn't - even if I'd tried. Of course, we've had our share of hard times, but who says that life is ever a rose filled dream? But through it all, we've stuck together, we've proved to the world, we truly are a team. Despite it all, you're even more so my very best friend, always my hero, the one and only love of my life, and I just wanted to say "I'm proud of you", I'm very proud to be called "your wife". I know you didn't want anything to do with your granddaughter, but now, those two girls are part of your very soul, and our two "amount to nothing" boys are now wonderful friends, and together, as a family, we're now completely whole. We have created generations of Great people, not bad at all for a broke 16 and 17 year old, we've been through many funny, sad, happy and embarrassing times, but maybe there's another time when those stories will be told. I will always love you, always and forever, you're smart and you're handsome on the in and the out, and you've already taught me so much in life, you've certainly taught me what love is all about. We were arguing and I was 9 months pregnant, but I'm so glad I replied, without hesitation: "Yes", because I know we were destined to be together, and we've come a long way from that black wedding dress. And now we have a successful roofing company, literally, your hard work has built it up from the ground, and I'm just so glad that 25 years ago, we went to Vegas, because all in all, it's true happiness that we've found. Because you are an excellent husband, a wonderful, loving man. in truth, one of the finest to ever walk this planet Earth, and I for one, know your true and honest value, yes, I know what my husband's love is really worth. And we've shared so many wonderful moments, in truth, there's just too many to individually list, just know that each and every one is precious, there's not one that we would have missed. So, I think I'll finish by saying: "I love you", actually, I've never really said just how wonderful you are, but if my love for you were a distance, then it would be further than the furthest star. I also wanted to say: "Happy 25th Anniversary", I guess that's really what these words are for, here's to you, Brett, always, my hero, and here's to our everlasting love, for evermore.
