A thank you poem to the miracle workers of 2005...
For Shelley, Beth, Vicki, Jill, Linda, Mandy, Sophie, Rob, Zoltan, Leslie, Gina + Jennifer
A Contented Sigh
Sometimes it takes an age or two,
sometimes it takes eons to pass,
but I wanted to say thank you,
your contribution, just first class.
And together, we've created,
and you have played your splendid part,
just know that I'm very, very grateful,
as you would be aware, words from the heart.
I wish you, loved ones, every peace,
love, happiness, joy, I hope it is yours,
I also hope that your tree is bountiful,
and you get a visit from Mister Claus.
I have a feeling about the New Year,
and that most things will definitely change,
just know my gratitude is eternal,
something that never can be rearranged.
Because what we've achieved is wonderful,
even though it might take those years to go by,
one day, people will look back on this time,
so let us all breathe a contented sigh.
Get off the hamster wheel for one second,
think about what, together, we've achieved,
I just wanted to say thank you again,
because I had a dream, now it's believed. |
